Hi All,

Ive had a 1996 C36 for a while now and I noticed that any time I loose traction only one wheel would spin. I did not think there was any ETS as it was like this when I bought it. No orange triangle has ever lit up on the dash. It also does not light up when the ignition is turned on. I just thought that it was an option and my car just didnt have it. However I recently bought another C36 a few days ago (1995) and it does have ETS along with the orange triangle that flashes etc. Now im thinking that my 1996 model does have it but for some reason it is no longer working. Anyone have any ideas ? Do all C36 come with ETS ?

i think only certain models come with that, what you can do is pull out the cluster on the dash and if it hsa the triangle on the back your mos likely have ETS OR ASR

 

No, he means ETS, my C36 had that too, it was a better system than ASR IMO as it acted more like an electronic LSD rather than cutting engine power.
