1999 Mercedes Benz C43 AMG
Hello,
I recently found a C43 AMG that I am interested in purchasing.
I became a little hesitant when I found out that it has 128K miles on it.
I've drive Japanese cars my entire life, so I have no knowledge of German cars, let alone any Mercedes.
Considering the C43 AMG is in good mechanical shape and will be properly maintained in terms of tune-ups it the future. How much do you think it has left in the tank before it starts choking up with repairs every month?
Do you think its worth buying it at 128K miles?
I appreciate the help.

If the current owner has the maintenance records,I wouldn't be concerned at all.If he doesn't ,I would have $tealership look it over prior to purchase. The weak link with these cars is the tranny.I would not be concerned with the miles on these motors. As long as the oil was changed with synthetic you should see 250k plus.Remember , the car you're looking at is going on 11 years old, that isn't "high mileage".
