Shocks for C36?
Last edited by Darth Speed; Feb 19, 2010 at 03:09 AM.
The parts number for rear shox: #B36 1855
Are these yellow colored Bilstein shox the SPORT version?
Not the Regular HD shock?
I found them on Ebay for around $74 dollars is that a cheap price for 1 shock?

These Bilsteins will match the Vogtland springs in stance and improved ride quality?
Either Koni's or Billies for my car!
Can you find them for even better price?
Thanks

Are they the same in height- stiffness- rebound as their European cousins?
The only thing that differs is the #partsnumber?
Buying them for 74 dollars each on Ebay is cheap!
I bet they cost even more in Europe?

Hi guys.
I think I'll go with Bilsteins yellow sport!
If I can buy them for 65 bux each and pay the horrible shipping cost to Sweden they still come out to be cheaper than if I buy them from Sweden!
When it comes to long term wear and tear I think the Billies will last longer beacuse the have less parts inside that can go wrong?
Is this correct?
Regarding Euro Bilsteins vs US Bilsteins!
I've seen that the Yellow Euro Sport version Billies comes with a blue colored on top sleeve and the US Billies comes with a black sleeve!
Is there anything different between the Euros and US shox besides the hat color
See the attached picture!

your Billies feels tight and crisp now.
car is handling better?
these sport version Billies works better with you lowering suspension?
or are you still flying high above ground on US version AMG springs?
The Bilstein B8 are much softer than even an old standard shock. It is terrible to drive with. The electronic stability control needed to take control of the car very early.
A Bilstein engeneer confirmed me, these shocks were not designed for AMG.
Bye,
