Lightest spoke rims for C43 AMG
What are the lightest spoke rims for the C43 amg? I am thinking about getting the mandrus milleniums, thats the look i am going for. like 19 spoke with the gloss black face and chrome or diamond cut lip. I want the lightest possible, does anyone know what wheel it would be?

They are real nice and they are made specifically for Mercedes. They weigh 27 lbs without tires, kinda heavy

There are lots of nice and light wheels out there unfortunently most of them will not fit our cars without redrilling the mounting holes so that you go from 114.3 X 5 to a 112 x 5. Several of the better wheel or rim repair shops can handle this job, but you should ask if they do the work themselfs or if they sub the work out. If they sub it out then I would ask for the name of the shop they use and if they won't give it to you, go find someone else. Let them know you just want to check out the equipment and process and will still go through the wheel repair shop for the actual work.
I had my SSR Comp's redrilled and the shop that did the work did a great job. They even put steel inserts in the new holes that were drilled in the same location as the hole that came with the wheel. The inserts make for a stronger and harder surface, which the lug nut tightens up to.
My SSR's which are 17x9.5 weight 15.7 lbs. An 18 " wheel that is 9.5" wide can be had from several manufactures for less than 20lbs per wheel.

I believe it was around $60 per wheel. It was done by the people I bought the wheels through. At that point in time and maybe they are still open, but the store was called The Wheel Supply. They were in Southen California.

FWIW- I put on 18x8 and 18x9.5 AMG twim spoke reps on my C36 and they were heavy !
55lbs for the rears IIRC.
That said....I didn't notice any difference whatsoever from the stock Mono's.
The rears would still easily break loose if I romped on the gas. Handling was fine as well,as was braking.
Unless you're AutoX-ing get wheels that you like. The c43 is a cruiser.
