Fixed a bunch of small things today

1.) Fixed the integrated microphone in my rear view mirror, it was pushed up inside the housing of the mirror. Pulled the mirror off (THANKS YOUTUBE) and reset the microphone, took less than 5 minutes....
2.) Fixed my rear drivers side door lock, I could hear the air hissing but the lock wouldn't open or close. Took the door panel off (THANKS YOUTUBE) and saw that the yellow air line was severed in 2 pieces. pulled it out and sealed it put it back in and BOOM door locks works.....
3.) Fixed my high mounted brake light, damn thing was rattling when I had my music up loud, pulled it off and reset it BOOM no more rattle
4.) Fixed my dummy light sensor for the windshield washer fluid reservoir. The sensor is a stick with a magnet on a float. As the float rises the magnet closes or opens a magnetic reed switch (at least that what it looked like to me). I pulled the sensor out (it was CAKE) opened up the sensor and cleaned it. I made sure the float could move up and down and I cleaned the contacts for the electrical connection. Put it back in and BOOM..... Dummy light turns off. And to think I almost went to the stealership and bought a new one for $50
Only small detail I didn't get to is the drivers head rest, when I have my door open I can adjust the head rest up and down but as soon as I close my door I can't... obviously this must be an electrical connection issue and I will pull the door panel off tomorrow to check it out. This one doesn't bother me too much as I don't adjust my head rest and if I wanted to all I have to do is open the door but I do want everything to work like it is supposed to.

"Hi I have a clk320 2004 convertible and the rear head rests do not work off the push button just sounds dead they are in the down position, i also find that i can only move the front headrests up and down when no one is sitting in the seats any advice please thanks!"
So it seems that the W202 isn't the only one! Some guy suggested this:
"Try operating them with the drivers door open and the key out of the ignition when sat in the seat."
Apparently this worked for the guy whatever that means. I guess I can live with a head rest that only works when I lean forward as I NEVER adjust my headrest.
