Would very much appreciate any input on the replacement of the starter on a 1997 C36. I can access the starter from underneath, but cannot seem to get a wrench on the top bolt of the starter as the bolts come in from the back and are threaded through the bell housing. Thank you in advance.

Can't really help you, but I know one thing. This is not going to be fun.
Starter replacement was fairly easy once the exhaust was loosened and lowered. The top bolt can be accessed from the back with a really long extension.
