Correctparts number for original Avantgarde grille?
I wanna buy the original Avantgarde grille for my C43.
This so called S-Classe 600 grille is tampered by MB to fit w202?
They had to cut the chrome rails?
Is there any signs of cutting on these grilles if you inspect them thoroughly?
I found some parts numbers on benzworld.
Is this the correct number?
B6 688 0127
There is also another number but this part needs cutting?
Is it a DYI grille?
A210 888 0123
So is it the above part I should go for to get the original MB Avantgarde grille?

I would like to know where people got their avantgarde grill from as well. I love the look of it but I have seen a CHEAP one where the thin horizontal metal pieces could be slid back and forth by hand and I would like to avoid ANYTHING cheap on my AMG. Please enlighten the rest of us if you have an avantgarde grill.

I would like to know where people got their avantgarde grill from as well. I'm hoping DRBC43 can chime in here, I believe he has the avantgarde grill I'm looking for. I think he got it form some company that is based in sweden. I am not sure what you are looking for kowalski but I want a plug and play grill that is made for our W202's not something I have to modify.

i was just curious why there were 2 different parts numbers for this grille?
w210 modification grille? what is this?
the grille DRB43 has is an aftermarket CF look grille he bought from an internetshop selling mb parts MB-specialist

Correct, I got my CF look grille from these people in Denmark: http://mbspecialist.com/
It was a straight bolt out the old and bolt in the new grille operation. I believe Saaboteur on here also got his at the same place.

I did ask the local MB for the price of an original Avantgarde grille. Fell on the ground with a heart attack when learning the price of around CHF 500.- for the whole grille.

you'll get another ART-ATTACK when you ask the price for c32 calipers
was it the same partsnumber I wrote above, or was it the w210 version gutted and cut to fit w202?

Didn't get the number and don't know if it was the gutted version made to fit or an OEM direct fit, but probably was the latter
As for the C32 calipers, if I go for the brake upgrade I will go for the Brembos
They offer the best choice of drilled or slotted rotors floating on an alu hat. Weight 6.7kg (rotor and hat) and in either 332mm x 32mm (bit smaller diameter than C43 OEM) with a 4 piston caliper or in a BIG 355mm with a 6 piston caliper. Official Brembo site offers ALL the necessary info including drawings of the calipers and rotors with dimensions and part n°s.

This parts number is only for the insert looking Avantgarde grille, does not come complete with outer frame: B6 688 0127
Here is the complete grille for 2000 model C43: A202 8800 483
It costs a helluva alot of money @ the stealership!
