Ceramic or Metallic Brake Pads
Hey guys, I just purchased some new front rotors and I'm going to be replacing the pads as well. Which is better? Ceramic or Metallic?

Check out the Akebono brake pads.... they are supposed to be good and with the added bonus of not giving off too much brake dust.

define better more elaborately...
metallic (generally) seem to have better bite, but are noisier than ceramic.
what do u want out of ur pads?

what I mainly what is some rotor friendly pads....I don't want to have to replace the rotors for awhile cause those things are expensive. I use my car mainly for daily commute. I race it or anything.

whatever u get, don't get mintex extreme. stupid sticky stuff they put on the back of those pads just make it impossible to keep quiet; shims, grease, nothing works. they were fantastic on the track tho. just super noisy and dusty.
