Well true and that's nice to hear, but I can imagine that for a small series (not many C43's around) its not going to be cheap, unless you have something sitting on the shelf.... I wonder if this will get some response from our members on here

i think the biggest problem is the packaging; i BELIEVE they will connect no problem because it's the same m113 engine block, but the w202 chassis is too small to fit LTH. shorties may be a different story though, but idk.

They will not be a direct bolt-on. The flanges will fit to the head, but the design of the primaries I believe will not due to spacial issues of the W202 engine bay. Also, the location of the collector flanges will not align with the C43 exhaust, but that can be worked around. Net-net is we won't know until we try, but there will definitley need to be some modifications to make it work. Keep in mind we're talking about our shorty headers for the M113 motor here, and what fits on an E, does not fit on an SL or S for example.

With regards to our long tube headers that we make for the 63 AMG's- will definitely not fit. And to make a LTH for this car, well...how bad do you want it?

Is there someone who is local to Huntington Beach, CA ?

I'm about an hour away from there. There's a few other locals too that are pretty close in socal too. They're just lurking.

You're right, the SLK32 is the exception to my comment

If there's enough real interest, I'd be open to looking into this. My fear is just that for what people with C43's are going to want to pay, I'm not sure it would make business sense unless there's a good amount of serious interest. But I'm open to it.

Kleeman is selling their headers for the C43 for $1400 so anything in that ball park (or cheaper ) would be reasonable

As for exhaust, Supersprint USA is having a sale for exhaust and resonator. I paid about $1300 shipped for both. I placed an order last week and they are in transition from Italy. Now, I'm desperate for header...

2002 CLK55
There is a company in the Chicagoland are that does incredible work. They can, and most likely will fab anything up. I was going to have them do long tubes on my CLK55, but I decided to sell the car instead. Anyways here's the link www.fluidmotorunion.com

And if you're looking for more power out of your C43 buy my CLK55 engine. Its cheaper than long tubes.

Please let us know when you have it installed, I am interested in the sound and if you notice any power gain.

Wow. I wish the guys in the W203 section would show this kind of W202 love... C63 is such an amazing machine, I cant help but dream of whats coming next!

Is $1400 the going rate for headers for the C43? I know kleeman is asking these prices but I would have though closer to $1000 is more reasonable? Then again I guess that's all based on demand? How much in gains do see from a good set of headers?

I think kleeman is claiming 20hp for their headers, not sure if that is at the crank or at the wheel though

I would guess 20hp is at the crank... More like 12-14hp at the wheel?

Heavy metal pornography

Just pure exhaust **** Found this in the SLK section. Amazing they can achieve this in a car smaller than the W202, just because we have a stupid old steering box on the side instead of up front!
