Should I?
Considering trading my C-Coupe for C43. Any opinions, cautions, recomendations would be appreciated.
I guess a 2000 is impossible. So, I guess I would like to find a Silver/Black C43.

i think the only thing that ever really came up (for a car that each year sold in the hundreds...hard to find to start with, and hard to have same problems another)...was the c43 was a little hard on the auto tranny... other than that...hope u find what u'r looking for

Check out the car completely! You wanna be sure that nothing major is going to happen the day after you purchase it. Also, try and get a warranty.

When I just bought my 1999 C43 I took it into a Mercedes dealer and had them plug into the ECU computer and take a test drive, before I bought the car.
They found a couple of minor items and you also get a complete run down on how many times the car was in for service and what was fixed.
Cost me $230, but worth it.

still just contemplating this...
I obviously would love to do it. i just can't see why anyone would get rid of one of these unless there was a good reason. I would be worried that it was a problem car.

I bought mine, a '99, at CarMax of all places. Evidently just came off lease- best way to get one is off lease. I was able to get a 4 year, 48k mile warranty for $1400 also, and I've already gotten my money's worth out of it (lots of little things other than a warped crank pulley). Great car!!!
