Off Topic: my other car

While I have a 'build' thread for my AMG, I only just got around to putting one together for my S2000. The cars are quite a contrast, which is why I enjoy them both so much. There are tons of S2000s, but not that many C43 AMGs. Consequently it seems the C36/43 AMG community here on this forum is a bit closer (save for the occasional 36 vs 43 warz), so here's my bit for sharing. Post up what other car(s) you might drive, so I don't feel like I'm trying to get all the limelight!

Don't really have much to share on mechanical mods. My old reliable 97 C230 which I bought brand new.
The 2 family mobile, 09 Acura MDX and 06 Honda Odyssey and the W210 E55.
Couple of years ago I bought a 1986 911 but all it gave me was headache.
Sold it before it becomes a money pit.
I want to sell the Odyssey and pick up a Porsche 993 eventually since we ever hardly use the minivan anymore.
But the 993s have retained their values so much. They're still selling in the mid to high $40k down here.
Also bought MY2000 S2000 when it first came out - yes I paid premium for those back then. Sold it to someone from your neck of the woods.

Mr. Saab!! I see you use GC and powerflex!!! I miss them so much!! GCs are best coilovers and swaybars I've experienced ever. Now, I'm wondering why powerflex don't make stuffs for our ride.. it would have been the best urethane bushing for our ride....

here's my grocery getter! 2008 x5 3.0 with aerodynamic kit and 21inch type 210 wheels and all black plastic crap painted.

This is an old pic, I'll have to get a newer one. Has a titanium Sil Motor half system, ITG filter, Ducati Performance chip, and Evoluzione clutch slave cylinder. Otherwise, the daily beater is a 99 Accord.

^That X5 looks awesome

My wife's vehicle is a white '06 Land Rover LR3. Also has the black plastic fender flares and such. If we smoothed and painted those white, it would look like a late ('08 or '09 if I remember right) LR3, or any of the new LR4s.

993s and Ducatis FTW. Friends just picked up a his and her set of 1198 and Monster. Another buddy of mine has a BMW S1000RR. I won't go down the bike path myself, I would probably get myself killed or maimed. Or both.

I think the only car I would flog the S2000 for would be a 997. I was all over the Elise/Exiges before, but I just don't think they'd be very practical. I mean, okay for driving around the city and for track use, but not so much for GT work, like a summer drive to the mountains. I don't even like the S2000 for that, too noisy, I typically only drive it in the city and infrequently outside of the city. A 911 would be great for longer drives.
