You got a great deal. Enjoy the car for what it is. However, I would STRONGLY suggest (not saying you have to since its your car) taking the C43 badge off or anyone from this forum or anyone knowledgeable about Mercedes will give you one of these ----->

If not take your own advice. And what is a E46 M3 Is that a 320 with a badge on it, from another model. Better still just count the plugs and tell me how many under the hood.

Fellas lets settled down here. No need to get all crazy on here. The person has not even responded. He got scared off most likley. Not worth getting upset over. If it was a C43 or a C280 its still just a W202. Not worth getting pissed over. He actually may go out and buy a Honda now..
