Hello! I'm the proud new owner of a C43 AMG

I just got my baby a few months ago and I am madly in love with her! She's a 98' with 140k miles, but she's been well taken care of and I plan on maintaining her for years to come. I'm gonna need your help and advice tho!

So far, I've flushed the oil and coolant. Replaced the hood emblem. Bought new rims and tires. (Continental ExtremeContacts)

The front brake pads are getting low and the brake fluid is low... think I'm gonna replace all the pads and flush the brake fluid. Also thinking I should replace the fuel filter and flush the transmission.

Any other suggestions, tips, advice? Much appreciated!

More pics to come!

Welcome on board

Nice to hear about a new C43 owner. Enjoy the car as much as I enjoy mine Gets a smile on my face everytime I ease her out of the garage and when everything is nice and heated up a bit of lead foot makes my day.
Engine oil changed = good (what oil used?)
Engine filter changed? = best to to it at the same time
Gearbox oil and filter change = preserves the only weak point in the vehicle
Fuel filter change = doesn't do any harm if it hasn't been done recently
Air filter change = get it done if they look dirty
Pads and low fluid = normal if the brake pads or on the way out. Plenty of good low dust pads around
Front rotors = expect to dish out some $$$$ as the OEM ones are expensive but ample sufficient
Spark plugs = check them out. Wires too if they look cooked.
Looking for a nice exhaust sound = remove secondary cats and resonator with a bypass pipe

Keep us posted on your opinion and work done on the 43' and post some pics in the "Sticky" = Gallery
