Congrats on your new car (especially with a new transmission!) - Peace of mind for you...As far as the HVAC head, you might (I don't know your DIY skills) take it apart and clean up, if not they're on ebay on a regular basis fairly cheap. The OE wheels look great!

Cut them off with a sawzall and weld in a piece of straight pipe...

Those seats look as heavily bolstered as the seats are in my C63, as far as the thigh and lumbar support goes.

Huge improvement! Once you replace that grill with an avantgarde (or even stock), show us some pics as I want to see how your headlights will look w/ a better grill!

Alright I'll put the stock grill on for the heck of it. It's not in bad shape but the "black" is really faded.

Cool, I just want to see it because I'm on the fence about getting similar headlights to the ones you have, except with a chrome surround not black like yours.

BTW, what does your sn mean anyway?

Btw how do you compare perceived "build quality" between the m3 and c36? What other element does each ride win out over the other?

I'll have to give build quality some thought, but in the meantime here's an old write-up of dynamic evaluations and comparisons between the two.

C43 AMG
have to chime in here from auz and confirm "hoon" to be part of the australian language, and also am very curious to see how the lights look with the grill, im still on the fence about the lights but the smoked side indicators kinda look cool. but they would not look good along side the OEM lights look forward to seeing yours with the grill

yeah hoon is the perfect word to describe spirited hooligan driving - it needs to enter oxford.. i'm doing my part.

So yeah - its raining something fierce over here... so grille may have to wait another day.

i did it, but with the afternoon sun and bounce light off the garage the colors are all wacked out. I will try and take another picture at noon under clouds for a better look.

That actually doesn't look too bad!

In fact, if you black out those chrome inner strips, it might match your smoked/blacked out theme front end.
