Whatchy'all think of these badboys?
Ever since I saw ARuss's custom-fabricated projector headlamps I've wanted to get something similar. I think 503C43 had found some on ebay, but I recently came across these and wondered what you guys think. I know they're not quite the same, but it's the closest thing I've been able to find. Your thoughts?

close but no cigar....
See how Aruss's look STOCK!!! I want those head lights so BAD!!!!
Unfortunately the ones you have pictured there still look a little out of place (still a little too ricey), please keep up the search (I am too) as I am DYING to have some HID projector head lights that look good on the C43.

The head lights in this thread are the ones I am talking about, unfortunately they are a custom job:

The more I look at the head lights you found the more they look like Aruss's...

Hmm...I thought Aruss's lights were the ones on that blue wagon at the top of my thread? I've never seen the ones in your link. Also, I noticed that those in the link are backwards...meaning, the projector is on the outside and the halogen on the inside, whereas the ones I found on ebay and on the blue wagon have the projector on the inside with the halogen on the outside.
I thought Aruss had the same ones as in the link I posted but it looks like he has the same ones as you posted.
I noticed the same thing about the projector on the outside but look at the picture of the gray wagon with the lights installed, they have the projector on the inside so I am confused...

Oh, and back on topic...I noticed that Aruss's headlights are actually a different shape. They are far more angular, with the inner part of the lights angled downward vs. the stock lights which are more rectangular and flat along the top. You can clearly see this by just comparing where the inner part of his headlights line up with the grill compared to a stock headlight. In fact, I think he has a modified hood too (to fit the new shape of the headlight)!

Aruss' may look angular because of perspective of the shot. The eBay lights are taken from straight on. The blue wagon is shot from the side a bit more. They do appear to taper a bit going left to right though so who knows.
eBay shot is shorter focal length and thus more wide angle - see the exaggerated grille and swooping back roof? They still could be very similarly shaped lights before the camera tricks.

For custom Headlights Hella offers OEM modules. Advantage is, they come with a certification, so they are also accepted by the German Tüv.
They also offer Bi-Xenon modules what makes it very interesting for me. Unfortunately they are not cheap...

Found something (in German language)...
http://www.hella.com/MicroSite/soe/s...heinwerfer.pdf
http://www.hella.com/MicroSite/tuning/CH/index.html goto Module
And one of the Bi-Xenon versions http://www.teilesuche24.de/hella/hau...97001?c=700243
But it is for european market with asymmetric light. In USA you have the High/Low-beam system I think. I don't know if available too. So maybe it is not so interesting for you...

LOL, I'm with you on that one. It's like searching for the holy grail. I know of a brand new projector that would look good. The 218 CLS equiped with the new LED headlights has an awesome projector. The top and bottom of it are flat. I think that would look pretty bad **** in a 202 head light.
