Thanks!

However, these are almost always out of stock. In fact, the rears haven't been in stock in over a month (and they were supposed to be in stock mid-May ). Let me finish buying my set before you get yours! lmao

Here's some shots with them on a 500E (a guy from Benzworld I ran into at H2Oi last year).

Yes, replicas despite the logo (if you were to look closely, the "A" is not the same). But at first glance, it fooled my friend. He thought I dished out big $$$ for them.

The "A" actually has a small gap in it (think of it being cut in half vertically, with each half of the "A" spaced apart a tad). Therefore, it technically isn't the real logo. At least that's what I'm thinking. Regardless, I could care less.

I can take and post a pic of the logo later if you guys are curious.

please send a close up, thanx.

I've seen several socalled rims on Fleabay from UK and Germany I've been tempted to buy new AMG rims for my car and replacing my old Brabus rims.
But now I'm affraid that if I buy Fleabay rims they are going to be faux and the seller claims they are genuine stuff.

I found a real hardcore set on Ebay in Germany but I dunno anymore??
Daem!

Yep. I wanted 18s front/rear, but no 18s came in a width/offset combination that would fit our cars (as discussed in an earlier thread I started), so I went with 17s in the front, with a bigger tire (hope that doesn't look too bad).

I've seen them in stock, but they sell out quick. Not sure if they make small quantities or what.

Haha, yeah. But I'm sure that a hardcore enthusiast would understand why I (we) go the replica route. Authentic is too d*** expensive! It'll fool anyone from a distance though. Not many people will be on their knees looking at my wheels.

I will get down and get dirty inspecting your ////AMG logo
yeah buying genuine stuff is x-pensive I know.

about my attached german ebay link, looking at those sexy AMG rims, the ////AMG logo looks authentic but then ther are no logos on the boxes in the pictures??
All genuine stuff from AMG carries the logo on the box IIRC?

Those boxes aren't AMG or even MB boxes, just plain boxes. You want your boxes to be authentic too? lmao

Don't buy replicas. Bad stuff and dangerous too. Save your $$$ to buy the real stuff and never have problems (normally....)

You're talking to a college student here.

And these replicas are TUV-approved (and yes, there are stampings on the wheels). Good enough for me.

OK, if TÜV approved, no problem. Being a student = not much dough. Being older does not mean having much more $$ (after 2 divorces)

Just like the "AMG" logo whos to say the "TUV" stamp isn't fake either???

The people who are making these rims know exactly what needs to be done to avoid being penalized for copyright infringement.

the "AMG" logo looks more like "F A M E" to me and I am sure they did that on purpose to avoid lawsuits with a world wide multi billion dollar company that is MB. I will admit they did an amazing job of making it look like the AMG logo from a distance

All of that being said, I do like how the rims look. Can't wait to see a pic

Update:
Got my second front wheel in, ordered the 2 rears (they were in stock--a rarity!); they'll be in Friday. Also, got all my rubber. Running Falken Ziex's 225/45/17 in the front and General Exclaim's 235/40/18 in the rear (got 2 sets of those ).

Everything will be mounted and on the car by next Wed/Thurs. Can't wait!
