I've left the machining upto my diff shop, it's very minor and any diff shop would be able to do it for you

Well I've be using the new diff for about a month now, I've got 1 track(circuit) day in too so I can finally give you all an idea how it performs.

I've driven 2 W210 E55's with a Quaife LSD inc 1 at a track day and I've had a Kleeman "LSD" in the C43 for about 2-3yrs. The Wavetrack unit looks very similar to the Quaife unit externally, fitting is the same as a Quaife (still send it to a diff shop).
The Quaife is very unobtrusive in it's operation, the more torque you give the more lock you get. The Wavetrac is a little more obvious that it's there even with low torque. Tight corners with little traction will give a little bit of wheel slip due to the higher lock at low torque, a little like a locked diff. Not enough to be an issue, uncomforatble or much wheel slip, but enough to know it's a tighter diff than the Quaife. Very good traction overall, exactly as expected.

On the track it's given an unexpected benefit, it's reduced understeer. Round the track it makes it feel like you can drive it through a corner a bit more on the throttle to control under/oversteer. A very handy improvement over the Kleemann.

Highly reccomended for anyone who likes spirted driving or has a bit more power over standard. Finally a worthy solution!

On the c clips I found a different one that I use on the quaife installs. I use a rectangular one from the 163 half shafts. I cut it down and squeeze it down to fit the shaft. I have done this many times and works perfectly. Clips cost like 15 dollars a piece though.

had my wavetraqc in for a few months. on the twisty roads you can really feel it perform and the rear end is very predictable in what it will do when you lay the power down. must say i dont feel it as much on the dragstrip. thought i would but the peace of mind that i wont blow the diff with my dr's at 15 psi and 372 ft/lbs of torque coming off the line is worth the price of admission!!
