1996 C36 (Gone but not forgotten), 2004 CLK55, 2008 911 C2S
C36 radio alarm light
We have a 1996 C36. The red flashing alarm light on the radio does not go off now when you unlock the car - it keeps flashing constantly, whether the car is locked or unlocked. The radio is working fine. Anybody else seen this? I have not disconnected the battery and reconnected it to see if the problem clears itself.

Try the battery disconnect trick, but before doing so, make sure you have the radio security code handy.... otherwise no more radio listening
