722.4 Surprise & Vacuum question

Kind of really awesome, but the torque converter on the 722.4 and 722.6 cam be DIY drained. I have never seen this before. Just turn the harmonic balancer 27mm bolt until a hex bolt appears in the eye of the bell housing.

That's the drain bolt! It looks just like the drain bolt on the transmission pan itself.

The question I had had to do with vacuum actuated 722.4: I know there is a modulator right where the vacuum line attaches to the transmission. Is there a procedure to tune this setting? Any guidelines?

eclectic assortment of cars
I didn't realize the converter could be drained until I removed the left downpipe/cat assembly to reveal the little rubber cover that goes into the bell housing. No way to get at it on the C43 unless that assembly is removed!

Nothing to be removed on my C36 to access it, way cool. Thank you Bentley book.

On the other hand, I suppose I should find the missing rubber plug.
