Looking at purchasing a 1995 c36 tomorrow

Newb checking in here with the most Newb question. I didn't see any stickys, so I apologize for posting if there are some.
Anyway, I currently own an e30, and I really like this era of Euro sedans (well built and not impossible to work on).
I came across a clean looking bone stock 1995 c36 with 192,000 miles. Asking price is $6000. The body is clean and I am wondering if anyone could point in the right direction for what to look for (common repairs...).
Sounds like $4000 is a more reasonable price based on some posts that I saw here.

Cheers!
Steve

Yes is $6000 is way too much.On these vehicles check wiring harness integrity $expensive$...check head gasket.Other than that these are near bullitproof.Im sure some other 36 owners will pass on some other bits...good luck!

Thanks! Where do i look for issues with the wiring harness? If it is rough will the wiring seem brittle/look bad?
Thank you again.

Exactly. It will be very brittle and crumble if you mess with it, exposing the wires. Definitely check for oil leaks. And try and get the price down. This car with that engine and the 4-speed transmission will definitely keep running for a while, but for that many miles and it being bone stock, 6k is def a little high. Also of course check the maintenance records. Make sure they've changed the oil and all good things.
