$$ repair
$$$$....sigh..
where in the city do you live, steve? i just picked up my 96 c36 yesterday, and i would love to meet an experienced enthusiast. hit me up if you have some free time. i also live in the city, btw.
j, i didn't c the leak, but the tech at mb spotted it. the adviser i've know for a long time (from volvo dealer)...so i doubt he's replacing something that's not leaking. i'm guessing since the car isn't driven much, the lack of oil circulation it must've dried the rubber hoses or boots somewhere (if they exist).
i know for sure the fuel tank is because the gas just sits there and well, gas needs to be stirred to prevent stuff from falling out... and the lack of movement of gas in the tank allowed water to condense, ruining the sensors.
