My car has the code for the EGR valve...I've been searching and found some info but wanted to see if anyone has specific instructions on how to do it on our cars.

Also, if anyone know what tools I will need that'd be great.

I'm interested to see how this turns out. My car threw the same code and I could never seem to get rid of it. Are you just planning to replace the whole valve? I heard that commonly solid carbon builds up in the return pipe from the EGR to the throttle body, though I ended up ruining my $1300 AMG throttle body in trying to clean it out...

Update...I got a tip to use 2 bottles of Chevron Techron by adding it to my gas. Check engine light gone after a few days

Oh you have no idea how much that frustrates me......

But congrats on fixing the problem. Wish I'd known to try that a year ago
