transmission weird...wouldnt upshift
do you guys experience a delay? was on the highway doing around 70mph and i floored it all the way...hitting the downshift thing. i let off the gas when i was where i needed to be but after letting go the revs still stayed high for at least 10secs or so and THEN it upshifted. do you guys have this delay?

Yes, the car does that sometimes. I think it's coming from the TCU/ECU which will keep the car in the same gear when you floor it since it thinks that you're about to keep driving the car hard. If you just gun it once and go back to slow driving mode it might confuse the car that thinks that you'll keep driving hard....
At least mine does that sometimes. It goes away right away if you play a bit with the gas pedal

Were you taking a corner?
The AMG software has the tranny hold the revs during aggressive driving as well as during corners so as not to cause the rear end to come out when cornering hard.
I personally never have seen what you are describing (i.e. holding for 10 seconds) but I have had mine hold for a few seconds, maybe 3 seconds or so.

yeah I agree that 10sc is way too much. When my car does this, it might hold up the gear for 3 or 4 seconds but 10 seconds is a lot.
You could try to do the pedal ECU reset. Here is how you do it: ECU RESET AS FOLLOWS 1.TURN KEY TO ON POSITION. 2.FLOOR ACCELERATOR HOLD FOR 5 SECONDS, TURN KEY TO OFF POSITION DO NOT REMOVE KEY RELEASE ACCELERATOR .DO NOT OPEN DOOR WINDOWS ETC.3.WAIT 2-3 MIN.FOR COMPUTER TO RESET.Start car drive aggressively for approx 10 miles. The computer will 'tailor' itself for a more aggressive performace.
