Heres my 1998 c43 !!! after wheels/repaint/suspension/brakes
here she is---
I have 2002 clk55 motor at the shop waiting till months end to transplant, it came to me off ebay in rough shape and I have repaired/replaced up to significant bank account dent--but i love her

Mods to do if you haven't done it yet?
Lower it, seems kinda high in that picture.
Paint your grille black with plastdip, will look cool on a silver car.
Install 4 AMG illuminated doorsills
Buy 4 AMG door pins, replacing those ugly US style plastic golfpegs
Paint your calipers silver or red
Tint your windows or get a rearblind for you vehicle, powerblinds needs modification, manual blind is not available at the stealer anymore discontinued, but I can get a used one.
MB sport pedals
There are not many interior mods to do on a C43, it looks good from factory as it is.
You'll waste lots of cash on that car because it's addictive, prepare to be an AMG-junkie

you need switch, loom, new centre console, cutting your own rear parcel shelf if you don't buy a new one with precut hole for rear blind.

I have for sale my old centre console cover in faux CF.
Wrapping all trim in CF looks will give you a cool interior

I hade mine fitted recently and by far is this the coolest mod I've done to my car, well worth the money.
now with a fully specced car I'm very pleased with her.

thanks kowalski---yes I think Ill just tint the rear three--if anything more to preserve the interior---next week its geeting the 5.4 motor, then yes ill drop it a bit------it had ridiculously low eibachs when i bout it so I tried sport springs from a c280, and externally adjustable konis, but im switching to vogtlans with #5/#4...

Congrats! Keep us posted. I'm lookin around. My father inlaw/mechanic is working l. My suspension as we speak. Might be nice to find a 5.4l and shove it in there while he had the car up!

hey kowalski where can I buy 4 AMG illuminated doorsills for my c43 can you give me the link. I think that would be cool to install on my car. I think im already amg junkie haha all my freinds are pissed say stop putting so much money and that old car. But its not just a car its a master peice to me.

When you order them you have to tell Jerry you want sills with AMG logo.
