Having some odd computer-seeming issues after my motor transplant

Hello- My 98 c43 is acting intermittantly funny after I have popped the clk55 motor in:

This was happening before the conversion and still is happening after:

--SOMETIMES when i really floor it and it feels like maybe Im not getting a lot of traction, after I slow down, the cars throttle doesn't 'work'---I press the gas, nothing happens, then the power comes on very very slow---but finally gets full power. It stays like this until i shut the car off and restart it--then it is fine again.

This just started:

when I drive the car hard, when it gets into 3rd or 4th gear, it just sticks in that gear, doesnt upshift, and runs itself up against the rev limiter. this is the most concerning. Then Ill try another run and it will shift ok---or if I drive it easy it will shift fine.....

The first problem is your Throttle position sensor. Pretty easy/cheap fix. You should be able to just search and find a few threads about replacing it

ok great thanks--sounds reasonable, the tps. I was reading some other thread that sounded like the other problem may be some shifter switch at the actual stick itself..
