C43 MAF + wheels
Hello people,
first post here and would like to say I'm a owner of a C43 AMG. I'm doing some service to the car (valve body circuit plate is broken) and I would like t know if this is the correct MAF for our engines offered at ebay?
Seems pretty cheap compared to others I have seen in the web.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/MERCEDES-BEN...&forceRpt=true
In the other hand I never liked the monoblocks that my C43 currently has in 17" either in 18" but surfing videos of C43 I found this car besides is too low, I really like the look of these wheels.
Anyone knows what model are they and size? Perhaps those are 18"? I would love to get identical set but in 17" but if that doesn't exist, at max I could go with 18". I notice the rear is either, wider than the front (staggered setup) or it has different offset (ET) since looks like more concave, which I love in a RWD car.
Thanks in advance for any advise/suggestions!

welcome dude.
w202 is a great car.
stay away from non genuine parts.
genuine maf is only a bosch part nothing else.
you can change the sensor only which will be cheaper, they are Pierburg also a great manufacturer.
those rims in that youtube video I think they are aftermarket rims?
They look nice on black beauty

Thanks. In the link seems to be a real BOSCH MAF but since the price is very good, I had my doubts, therefore I asked the experts in this forum Otherwise, from where (other source) can I get this new MAF that is NOT the MB dealer? Any other websites?
The MAF is working OK, but since is the factory one and the car has about 75k miles I woudl rather change it if it's not that expensive.

That is an AMG style rim. I think for the W211 E class or the CLS. I'd bet they are staggered, and probably have different offsets from stock, and I believe those are 18"s

if you're in the US?
you can buy from www.pelicanparts.com or www.autohausaz.com
there are tons of webshops selling OEM stuff for a lesser price than stealer.

My MAF seems to be OK, but as we know, a worn MAF can still work but you might be loosing MPG-L/100k or just overall engine performance and the scanner won't detect it unless it's broken the sensor so I might end up replacing it anyways.
I found the spark plugs like ...looks like it could be from factory installed?
Also, I took of the valve covers to get it bead blasted but found this "hole" which doesn't look too OEM for me...is this normal? What could be happend? This is the top cover of the valve cover to feed engine oil (driver side)
Thanks

You guys know if the following wheel size/offset will fit the C43 properly? Aka, flush with the fenders and not stick out?
18x8.5 32mm Front
18x9.5 35mm Rear
Thanks

Im a MB dealer tech and i see those wheels every day...literally. they are 18in staggered wheels found on the 211 chasis. very easy to find oem or replica. just check out oem wheels or replica wheels on google. tons of sites have those wheels from 17in-20in.

Yes I found them already in this particular set/size but I'm unsure if these will fit correct in my C43?

They should fit yeah. My Brabus reps were 35F 38R, so your's will stick out a little more than mine.
Here is the link for some reference pictures to give you an idea

P.S. the video you linked is my buddies C43, he is a member on here. The rims are SL replicas like this:
