Need to fix interior door trim
Does anyone know how to pull this part off without breaking things up?
I'm talking about the bare metal part that the wood trim attaches to. I plan on wrapping the trim in CF, but am I missing some tabs that need to be replaced? The back of my piece of wood trim is smooth. I'm thinking some mounting tabs broke off?

i just figured it out myself, but im sure there are some DIY's somewhere out there. basically you have to remove a bunch of screws, such as behind the door latch, behind the door handle (the cover part pulls off to expose the screws), etc. then, just gently pull the panel off, which is held in place by tabs around the edges.

There will be one behind the SRS little plastic cover, and I believe that's all that's different between the pre and post-facelifts. In terms of the trim, you have to pry off the circular tabs off the back of the piece. I'd look for a new piece of trim, as I imagine gluing that back and getting it to look stock will be tough.
