C36 Intake Crossover

Since it is so difficult to find a C36 intake crossover that doesnt have a broken mounting tab, can anyone with experience of getting a custom crossover made chime in? Im thinking about going the custom route and would like to know what materials would be best to use (CF, etc.) and other related ideas. If anyone has pictures of a custom intake crossover I would also appreciate it if you posted them so I can get a good idea. Hope you guys can help me!!

Hey man, how goes it?
I forget now where it was, but a little while back one of the guys on here showed me his setup with a custom crossover and crank catch can. If you search around hopefully you can find it. I'd imagine it shouldn't be too hard. For basics you just have to worry about sizing it and fitting it so the hood closes and the bends lineup, and then you can worry about the air flow. I believe his crossover was aluminum, but CF would be sick, just expensive.

Have looked for awhile and havent been able to get the picture you are talking about. Really hard to find a business in NC, or anywhere for that matter, to do such a job. I was thinking about laser sintering but idk if the material will last the test of time. There is a custom exhaust place in Durham, NC that might be able to make something for me to the exact specifications as the stock crossover but im not too sure. Still need to figure it out and figure it out quickly. I believe the custom route is the best way to go so that the part will be made with stronger material and thus allowing the mounting tab to stay intact.

Thanks for your reply, Chris. Hope all is well. If anyone else has an advice about going the custom route i would greatly appreciate your input.
