I would use the H4 for the low beams http://www.hidextra.com/h4/8000k/ and h3 for the High beams http://www.hidextra.com/h3/3000k/

Thank you for telling me. I will just keep the original ones. I also wanted to ask you if you might know. When I lowered my car and would drive over bumps. I started noticing one of my lights flickering and going out. Is this a common problem on c43s? Do they have some sort of wiring issues? Or is my balast going bad?

Listen to this man, he speaks the gospel! Your light will be bright white, but there will be no beam pattern so all that light will be wasted. Plus, you will blind oncoming drivers who will throw things at you and call you unspeakable names in a language you cannot understand.

You'd be better off using a high-quality bulb in those housings. If you are dead-set on using HID's, I would suggest getting either a factory set from a junked C-Class, or fabricating these eBay housings and use a true projector lense.

I lucked out since my car came with HID's. However, the technology was fairly new, so they are not in projector housings. But still, the light output is amazing compared to stock C-Class halogens.

Depends. Are you running your stock headlights or the HID kit? Is the HID kit aftermarket? If so, flickering lights could be a sign of a weak ballast or improper (or loose) ground. Many of the aftermarket HID kits, especially those on the lower-end of the price spectrum, tend to use inferior parts which are not as robust.

Check your wiring and /or mounting points for your ballasts. I don't believe stock C-Class headlights use ballast modules.
