and try to do a username search on 'speedybenz' too . Haven't seen him around much, perhaps he's moved onto newer/other cars? The site doesn't really go into it, but if you go through his posts, I think he talks about weight savings though. There is probably just a huge amount of weight that can be ditched from the car all over the place - seats, AC, heavy wheels, etc etc.

The W202 has got so much potential to become a better car (handling, braking, and accelerating) with just weight saving mods, just getting lighter:
- Front calipers/pads/rotors
- Car battery
- Wheels
- Suspension
And you'll probably ending up hanging with a stock C63 on track course

I weighed mine after removing the spare, jack, tools, secondary cats, and resonator and weighed in @ 3450 lbs. This was disappointing as this is the advertised stock weight but it must be the dry weight, I weighed with a full tank of gas, full windshield wiper fluid, oil, etc...

perhaps, but if I wanted to lighten my 43 and cost was not an issue , I would start by ripping out the front seats and installing some Recaro lightweight buckets Find some lighter wheels (OZ or BBS) and replace front and rear hoods with CF items That should get some weight down without removing the creature conforts and compromise security

Mine weighs 3,286 lbs without me.
Removed spare, first aid kit (yes, go ahead and laugh. haha), plastic bellypan, random plastic pieces, lighter wheels, LED conversion (LEDs weigh less than normal bulbs, right? ), and maybe some other things...I forget.

It's that reset you can do with the key/gas pedal (thread about it somewhere). Not technically a tune (hence the quotes) but people (including myself) have noticed a bit better response.
