Delayed Start?
Hi Guys:
I noticed this delayed start issue about 2-3 weeks ago, I simply turn the key there is about a 1-2 second pause if that and it cranks. There is also a weird sound when I turn the car off when this issue started and almost sounds like something winding itself down. Not too sure if its the alternator on its way out...it has been very cold here and I do not drive the car that much.
I have also noticed the lights flicker occasionally and this started a year ago if it helps any, once it nearly died. Generally fine after I run the car for a minute.
Any ideas?

My car did this when I needed a new battery. Go to an Autozone or similar and they can hook up a machine that will check your battery and alternator. Free and easy. Go from there.
