Looks perfectly OK to me. Perhaps your tranny is slipping a bit....

I didn't know a slipping transmission would cause wheel spin. How can I be sure?

Previous car was a C280, so these are new problems for me.

Looks like it was 59° so not hot, where are you located?

Is your car completely stock except for the Eurocharged tune?

NC. The road was super crappy (dusty and rocky) and my launch sucked, no other mods done. It was literally my first time trying it so I didn't expect greatness. I'll try it a lil later on some better tarmac, I couldn't even get a good spin out from the rocky terain.

Also anyone have tips for doing the best 0 to 60 run? and camera tips? I seem to focus more on the camera then I do on actual driving. I'm using my cell phone.

Buy a gopro

I have a mount on my steering wheel that is pointed right at the speedometer so I can capture speeds hands free.

This has to be the safest way as I can maintain 2 hands on the wheel and complete focus on the road ahead.

I got 5.5 - 5.7 on this one, definitely better than the last.

This does make me believe the Eurocharged tune adds power.

I will post mine soon, as soon as it stops raining around here

How are you guys measuring via youtube videos? Is there a way to make it show fractions of a second as opposed to whole seconds?

Yeah, edit the annotations and you can sent them down to fractions of seconds. Just start the annotation when you start, end it when you hit 60.

Damn. As near as I can tell, that clocks me at 6.4 seconds.

Well do a couple runs dude, don't just do one. Like I did 2 runs, and the run I thought was better ended up being crap compared to the other one.

I tried a couple more times. First one was nothing but wheel spin so I let out of it. Tried again at 0:25 without trying a full hard launch. I just sat still and slowly floored it. Not expecting much from a car with so many miles. Would love to find a 55 engine and a kleemann...

I clocked the run you posted above at 6 - 6.2 seconds, definitely faster than 6.4

Just love the mileage on that bad boy and still sounds great Sulaco. Wonder how far the M113 will go.

I saw the other day a video made by Mobil showing an E class MB with 1 million kms. After opening and checking the engine, it was clean and no wear. So that shows the M112's and M113's still have a lot of distance to run!

Thanks! That puts a smile on my face. The car is in considerably good condition, once you consider how many miles it has.

This puts an even bigger smile on my face. This whole time I've sorta operated under the assumption that within another 100k miles or so, I'd need a new engine due to wear and tear. Sounds like in the event I can't snag a 5.4l, I'll be fine keeping the original one.

plus that thing would have need had a cold start (maybe 1 every 13,000 miles.....) which is where most of the wear comes from

I hate propaganda **** like this
