I would love to but in this country you can get in some very serious trouble with the law if you post such videos on the net. Some people have ended up in jail

I clocked your 0-60 mph at 5.7 seconds but it seems like you didn't get a good launch. Stock C43 should be about 5.8-5.9 seconds

I'll post one

Well that's one healthy C43 you have. It sounds great too IMO !!!

It's weird I feel like the tranny is locking up gears "stronger" and quicker than mine. Mine is definitely smoother at shifting points. Did you do anything special to the transmission ?

My torque app has told me anywhere from 5.6 (ESP off) to 7.2(ESP on). Wildly inaccurate reading, if you ask me. I just got a Galaxy Note 2 that shoots great video. I'll try again just shooting video and posting like Zayed

Holy hell if I could get my hands on a healthy 5.4l with kleeman cams and headers too...

ZAYED,,
Watching the video again it seems you have the ESP fully on, this explains the slower time than expected. When it starts slipping you can hear the throttle cut kick in and it bogs you down for a split second.

Try it again with the ESP "off" and post the video

Made "2" videos, one with little launch playing, the other with (ESP-off).....

I think no changes with a tenth seconds(according to the Jason’s 503C43 ////AMG mentioned above).....

Good & smart notice,

I switched my tranny to the one from (S/SL600/65 Bi-Turbo/Maybach 57S/62S),, which is "722.649 A900Nm",

Its strongly shifting, with no lazy point between the changing shifts, didn’t expect how that ACTS....:>>>

There is definitely a difference. I clocked the one with ESP "on" @ 5.7-5.8 and the one with ESP "off" @ 5.4-5.5

Nice, it's definitely noticeable! It must feel nice to experience those stronger shifts points and shorter shifting times. Does this transmission have upgraded solenoids? I remember in some thread (TCU upgrade??) a lot of discussion around upgrading to blue solenoids, IIRC.

What else has the car done to it performance wise? Does it still have the 4.3 ? headers?

This tranny valve body comes with a "blue top solenoids", i switched them to the brownies, and put it back,, the internal clutches is soo strong, that’s why the shift points is fast & firm,,

I swapped the Engine to 5.4 with Kleemann Cams & Headers "4" years ago, but unfortunate i didn’t tune my ECU yet....

Thanks for the all details... Yeah you can tell that the clutch is strong! I thought I remember that you did the swap and was right... Definitely notice that the car pulls much stronger than the 4.3. Very cool setup you have there!

It's going to be a beast with the tune. Maybe a crank or UD pulley?

That’s a good sign Jason, im not sure, but i have feeling that the car runs under 5.0,, i could be wrong...!!,

cause i raced a "W203 C55" two times from a stand still, i beat him easily,

as you know; "W203 C55" runs from "0 to 62" in "4.9", which has a "3.06" diff., also the C32 can reach "0 to 62" in "5.2"....!!??

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_C-Class#AMG

The big ques. twisting in my mind,, is the scale reads properly.....!?!?,

cause the original C55 AMG equipped with "2.82" diff., and also it comes with a "2" different part #s for the (rear speed sensors),,

Any ideas......??!!

ZAYED,,

If that 722.649 is rated for 900Nm it's a serious piece of transmission

so many miles on this engine, a front tire out of balance, and low coolant, don't know why I bothered. Oh well. Still had trouble hooking up with brand new goodyear eagle f1's. I tried a second time but gave up due to so much wheel spin.

I'm certain I have not yet learned how to launch it properly. There's no way a stock C43 with so many miles, heavy oversized 2 piece 18" rims should have so much trouble hooking up on launch. What I do is just hold the brakes, press in about 1/5 throttle, and floor the throttle and release the brake at the same time. Suggestions??

Because if it is your rear will have a lot of camber, which will be giving you **** traction

0 camber = greater footprint on the deck and good for traction but less for cornering
- camber = lesser footprint on the deck and not good for traction but great for cornering
+ camber = something is wrong....
