You mean the plastic Strip going around the car?
In the beginning I tried, but it means a lot of additional work... you Need to totally rebuild the part because length and angle will no more fit, you Need to prepare the metal so the plastic will fit ino, what is hard because there is hollow space behind...
And in the and I believe that it won't look nice because the angle is too strong.

I have something for you... it is almost finished (you never finish fully)
With those W204 style mirrors you Need to pay attention... there is the Frame fixed with 4 screws to the mirror Body. But on Drivers side, the 2 outside screws prevent the mirror from showing the road, you can't move far enough out. You Need to remove the 2 screws and cut the case where screws are linked and glue the Frame to the mirrors body.

Damn, that is a LOT of work. I have to say, I REALLY like the idea of the heat extractors in the hood. The c43 gets so damn hot under there, all of the plastic either melts or turns brittle.

I have no problems with my plastics under the hood. Sure it gets hot in there but try and imagine the heat if you had some turbos in there....

Nice pics! With the car done now, you should get it detailed and then get a proper shoot. It would definitely be worth it after all the work you put into it!

I will modify the lower part of the front Fenders and side skirts a Little. I also need to create new inner wheel housings.
During winter I will update the interior. I already bought different leather and alcantara.

I need info on the diffuser. gettin a c43 amg bumper for my w202 and would like to put a diffuser on there since my muffler and tips are from a w221 S65 amg, I mean only the left side of the system, so on my original bumper i had to cut a crappy hole. I'm not sure if I have to do it on the amg bumper, but If I do, id' like to cover it with a nice diffuser.

Popey, just saw your latest photos. All I can say again is that your vehicle is probably the best looking c43 around. Period.
Keep us updated if you do other upgrades
Now, I just wonder what happened to the project being done in Russia... That was also very interesting and I hope the KGB or whatever they call it today didn't confiscate the vehicle.

The diffuser is self made of carbon fibre. I think there are some photos during the progress in my Photobucket Folder.
Why those whels? Well there are not so much wheels available in that dimension. Next it might sound strange, but I am not a friend of aggressive look. With all those heavy modifications my target is to have a car that still looks like factory made. And I think it is solved quite good.
I think these wheels look also similar to the AMG Styling II design. I like it.

Did you check the photobucket Folder? There are some photos of how it was made.

For the air box I used a Petrol can as mold. The flaps are of styro foam wrapped with some jayers of carbon fibre.
To link the diffuser to the bumper there are composite screws integrated in the flaps and in the air box.

looks amazing, C43 AMG BLACK!!!
when you are done with all of this and get bored PLEEEAASSEEE make molds of your body panels for the rest of us
i know the C43 market is small.... but hear me out.... haha, i bet you would be able to sell at least 8 kits on here. Us C43 owners are already used to overpaying for aftermarket parts so sell them to us so that you make enough profit and we will all be happy.
awesome job man.
