Slow 0-60mph
I am having a dilemma. I purchased my 1999 C43 (22,000 miles) about 2 months ago. When I first got it it wasn't driving fast and tranny was sluggish. The service manager at the dealer said the tranny was driver adaptive and if the car wasn't driven hard by the previous owner it would have to learn my driving style. He said it would take about 700-1000 miles to "learn" my driving style.
I have now put 2000 miles on it and it has gotten faster on the highway, but today I clocked the 0-60 and it did it in 9 sec. THATS RIGHT 9 SECONDS!!!!!!
I would call my service manager but they are closed for the long weekend.
Does anyone know what could be going on?! Oh yeah....its not in "limp mode".

Are you in Winter mode? Make sure the W/S switch (just left of the Park position on the gear selector) is in the "S" position so that you will start in first gear. Even starting in 2nd gear, I would think the flat torque curve would have you going a bit quicker than 9 seconds. Have your dealer run the codes to diagnose the problem.

yeah, seriously...
is this with a stopwatch? or something more accurate... either case... 300 hp even with a stop watch should not be so slow...u tranny may be slipping...or it may be what seems to be a common problem noted here on the board about the tranny wearing out due to aggressive programming...
