Help Needed...

I'm installing my new front bumper and new bumper face bar. The face bar is standard for all W202 models but some mods were performed in order to adapt to the C43 bumper cover. I am positive of this as I have both to compare and there are subtle differences. Could someone please post a close up pic of the front bumper joint area of their C43? I'm trying to figure out the proper way of attaching the face bar to the bumper as there are some tabs that are sticking out that look out of place. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

If you are referring to the piece that clips inside the bumper and slides onto the guide rails to mount the bumper then you have to cut out 2 notches to fit it to the AMG bumper. It's SUPER easy and can be done in 5 minutes or less.

Check out step #10:

Thanks but that is not the problem I'm facing. It is the entire opening around that piece and what is exposed behind the nose itself. All I need is a pic of that area so I can see if I've attached the inner bumper face bar to the bumper cover correctly. Thanks for your reply.

After looking closer at the pic in step #10, I can see the parts that grab under the cover. I now know that I've installed it correctly. Thank you greatly!

Cheers

I see if one of the places can use it but I will probably need something more accurate, but thanks for trying. If someone wants to give it a shot please do!
