C36 and C43 exhausts interchangeable?

I have a buddy who recently sold his C43, he took off his RennTech exhaust system (catback), will this fit on my C36?

I tried searching and the furthest I could get was people with C43s using C36 mufflers for the square tip look. That leads me to believe they're interchangeable....

If it does fit, anything I should be concerned with since the exhaust was designed for a V8?

The pipe diameter is much smaller on the 36.The location of the routing of the exhaust piping is similar. If you take the exhaust to a shop that does performance exhausts im sure they can mod it to make it work.It might not sound as you expect though.

Pretty sure the routing starting from the tranny and back would be the same or very similar.

Thanks, do you know the diameter of the C36 and C43 piping? I'm wondering whether I should go with this muffler at least, or just modify the stock piping to get better sound out of the stock muffler, maybe deleting the resonators?

But the diameter of the piping is different as 99CEEFOURTHREE stated is different correct?

EDIT**
See post #2, this guy is saying same pipe diameter size...

No re read my post...the routing is similar, the pipe diameter is smaller on the 36.The 43 I believe is 2.25 diameter.Doesnt matter if you want to retrofit the rear muffler to the 36 you can with reducers, couplings etc.Take it a good muffler shop.
