Replace stock HID ballast
Did someone replace the stock HID ballast with universal one already?
There are 4 wires from Headlight to ballast, I suppose it is yellow & brown 12V supply to ballast and red & blue from ballast to bulb.
When I connected my ballast that way, it did not work. Seems there is also something inside the headlight, because final wire to bulb are both blue.
So I connected a 55W HID kit (ballast and bulb) directly to yellow & brown. The bulb was lighted but became darker and finally off. Is it the current control that detects high current?
Later I will try with 35W ballast and 35W bulb...
