differential from w202 220D into c36 amg?
hello
My differential on my 1997 c36 amg(5 speed automatic) is broken. people told me that the differential on the c36 did not have a special differential because of the strong engine.(strange??)
I have a w202 220D from 1993/4 with 5 speed manual transmission. can i use the differential from the 220D into the c36 amg? i found some numbers on the differential on the 220D : R 201 351 16 08 And : 044 91 58 3.91
will this differential fit my c36 amg 100 % bolt on? and is this strong enough for the powerfull c36 engine??
it sounds strange.. a car with 280 HP and 385 NM use same differential as a car with 95 hp and 150 nm.. sound strange for me..
Can someone that know something about this please verify?

You should stick with 3.07 only,, the diff. you found is 3.91, it will NOT fit,
you have to go with the same one, but with 3.07....!!

Ohh... what you guys need to pay for a differential over there?
And is there any off this 3.07 differential thats have asd or something other locker thats fits 100 % bolt on my car and are strong enough?
I have a 1990 w201 190E 2 liter engine with asd differential. Not sure about ratio but its have a 4 speedmanual gearbox.. is this fit my c36?
