^Not sure if you're flaming or mega trolling?
Have a sense of humor about it.

I guess I am trolling. I didn't even realize it. I am unfamiliar with the term "flaming".
To be honest I was commentating on the other members response to yours and he gave me a thumbs up! I didn't think your comment was aggressive by any means so don't give me the gears.
I had the opportunity to drive a 2012 135i with the M dress up package and I was impressed. Not as raw as the C36 but just as fun.

^ Apologies.
I had an FBO 1 and it was awesome.
I get the raw AMG feel (such as my C63) but the 1 series was a special kind of fun. And surely a tuned 135i is going to be quicker in a straight line than a c43, even with normal mods.
I'm with you too, I have no idea why my post was taken the way it was. Oh well.

Peoples' emotions, intentions, and overtones don't convey well through text on a computer screen. It's the curse of the internet. I think you're all on the same page and don't realize it. No harm, no foul. We're all on the same team here. I mean, we can all admit the 135 is technically superior in every way compared to a C43, but we'd all pick a C43 to own anyway. RIGHT????

haha, yea totally agree.
i think we are all saying the same thing.

- 135i better car in most every performance category than the C43 on paper...
- C43 with 55 swap might change the above statement at least in terms of straight line speed
- but with a much better driver or a much worse driver in the 135 who knows what might happen...
- in general the best car for autocross is a miata

- i wouldnt trade my C43 for 10 miatas

also... at the same bmw club autocross there was a 335 xdrive awd car. younger kid driving it, he had the boost raised extra 4psi (from 8-12 i think). the care was putting 330hp to the WHEELS.
but all he did was overdrive the thing and basically destroy his tires in about 5 minutes. on the highway in a 3, 2, 1, go situation that kid would destroy our cars. but on a track or in this case autocross, a good driver in the C43 or practically anything else was destroying him.
i guess im just on the crusade to try and not let people judge the C43 by improptu highway drag races. its the equivalent of judging the beauty of woman by photoshopped internet images, haha. there is much more to be realized! :-)

Nobody can prove nothing unles you take both cars completely stock and run them against each other all day.
There are way too many factors to consider and car reviews and official stats are BS because ive seem major magazines rate c43s 0-60 time at 6.5 seconds. Thats just unheard of
All i know is that i beat a 135 off the line that one time haha
