Engine doesn't turn by hand after new head gasket installed
I am changing head gasket on my 1995 C280. After doing it and putting back everything, making sure timing was not changed using marks everywhere, I tried to move the crankshaft by hand but engine does not move. Noticed that chain tensioner is exercising a very heavy pressure over the chain. In order to move the crankshaft, I had to remove all spark plugs, an loosen the tensioner.
Can somebody tell me what's wrong here? Thanks and best regards!!!

First: I remember that timing chain tensioner being an absolute NIGHTMARE to reinstall on my head gasket job with my 1994 C280. You CANNOT take it apart and put it together in pieces, that will create too much tension. You have to keep it assembled as one piece and insert/torque it all together. It took me a good 2 or 3 hours one night to get it back in correctly.
