Vacuum Leak

Hey everyone,
I have a major vacuum leak somewhere and it's causing hesitation when pressing the throttle. I took it to the MB specialist and he said that it may be coming from the intake. He can't tell unless he takes the whole intake out but he keeps pressing that it would cost a lot to fix it and that I shouldn't spend a bunch of money because with this year Mercedes they made parts that have a certain service life. I want to take his advice because he knows best but something is telling me that this problem can be repaired. so he suggested replacing all vacuum lines and putting new seals on the intake. Has anyone done this before?

Thanks!

not sure if you have, but good to verify with a gauge how low the vacuum is and to make sure that's the problem. If it is low, these are some of the places to check. The MOT valve, air cut off valve solenoid, vacuum hoses on intake. You can also use some carb and choke cleaner and lightly spray around the intake manifold base working on runner at a time till up figure out which one is leaking while the car is running at an idle. Lots of youtube videos on this.

Also since you have a 95 some other guys are going to have to chime in on locations for the vac lines on the transmission. As my car is a 97 an I have the electronic 5 speed 722.... For now at least.
