Hi guys, was wondering if a 97 C36 Throttle Body would fit a 95 C36?

Do all C36 have cruise control?

Mine has cruise and ASR

all 97 cars have ASR?

Do not believe so, I think its specific to the 95. GL!

You can use a throttle body from a ASR w124 body car. It would be a lot easier to find one from there as many more were produced.

If it's just a harness problem just get someone to rebuild the harness, don't need a whole new body!

Most of the wiring in 95s is totally different than the older years, so there's a big chance the wiring won't be the same on the 97. If you have a way to check it could be the same

Not sure what can be used and work or not, but the 95 throttle body is an HWA (AMG) part

The throttle is not unique to the C36 models. All the throttles on the M104 cars are interchangeable. The only difference is between ASR and non ASR.

Your best bet is to have the wiring harness section rebuilt. A used throttle body will have the same biodegradable wiring. I had mine rebuilt and it was $279 and it looks factory.
