When i wash my windshield, the fluid comes out like a jet stream. Is there anyway to adjust it or clean it so that it's a spray out mist instead?

I think my washer fluid comes out in two distinct jets (although one is noticeably weaker than the others), so I'm not sure if it's supposed to come out in a "spray" pattern. I've tried soaking other nozzles in vinegar and CLR (Calcium, Lime Rust remover) but never achieved the desired results.
Try using a small "pick" or needle and clear the nozzle, otherwise, you're better off buying a replacement from the dealer or an online store like AutohausAZ.com.

I will definitely let you know. I thought I saw something that said "heated" nozzle. I'm kind of busy for the next few days but I'll probably find it again.

fwiw, mine was always a jet stream also; I think that's the way it comes from the factory. it's meant to work at highway speeds, so too fine of a mist may not work well.

No heated nozzles as far as I know, but the washer fluid tank is heated Originally Posted by mickey13
