CEL, Misfires, & Codes C43
Hi everybody, have been recently experiencing a CEL & limp mode around 4000+ RPM. Have read quite a bit about it, but would like to see if anyone has experienced and resolved the same issue. The car drives fine with normal shifting, but with higher rpm shift points, it throws a blinking CEL and feels like it goes into limp mode. I just attempted to clean my MAF, but the problem still exists. My scanner is pulling up a few different codes. The ones that always come up are the misfire codes P0300, P0305, P0307. Also, not every time, but it also has thrown a P0110, P0115, and P0306. Could this still be the MAF? Or is this pointing towards plugs, coils, & wires? Or does this sound like a catalytic converter issue?

Guess the engine must have cleared it's throat. Good job! Just hope it doesn't catch cold again

that is typical of a bad mass air sensor. it's throwing misfire codes because it's running so lean in the upper band.
cleaning it is like a band-aid, i would look into replacing it soon.

Do not be tempted by eBay MAFs! Probably common knowledge, but I am currently waiting for a refund on one...
