I have recently fitted a rewired throttle body, It seems to work fine, but the car would not start kept turning over, so I bridged the fuel pump relay and it starts fine, but sometimes when you go to accelerate it looses power and jolts about, when you rev it it also revs then drops on and off,
If I turn the engine off and back on it stops doing it.
Also the ETS ABS BAS lights are flashing on the dash,
Any ideas, the car has had a new engine loom in 2006 and recent throttle body harness rewire, but not sure if that could be the same symptoms, also it holds gear and wont change up until you let off throttle.
Thanks for any input.

Those lights on the dash are usually for a bad break light switch. I just replaced one on my W210 yesterday.

Cheers, so far I think fuel pump, brake light switch or speed sensor..

I would start at the brake light switch! It definitely causes those warning lights you mentioned. I paid $27 for mine and it took about 30-45min to install. Dealer quoted $267!

Sorted the gear problem, throttle needed adjusting, still got cut out, getting fuel pump, the lights on dash were brake light switch.
