Lot more road vibration transmsitted to the driver. All manufacturers use rubber for a reason, even black series cars, sls, slr use rubber. Poly will transmit alot of unnecessary harshness and will make noise.

I built up a 1995 firebird trans am and did a full suspension with poly bushings including transmission mounted traction bar. With the 275 tires all around there was so much increased road noise it was uncomfortable to ride in for any long trips.

In automotive suspension, an automobile's control arm or wishbone (aka. A-arm or A-frame) is a nearly flat and roughly triangular suspension member (or sub-frame), that pivots in two places. The base of the triangle attaches at the frame and pivots on a bushing. The narrow end attaches to the steering knuckle and pivots on a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ball_joint. A control arm differs from a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_link because it can control two http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Degrees_of_freedom_%28mechanics%29 by itself.
