Coolant Low?
Hi Guys,
I noticed my coolant light was intermittent over the weekend and steady on today. I looked at the tank and to my surprise it was almost empty. I filled it up to the half-point with water for right now, I will not be driving it until this gets check out. I have noticed it running a little hot lately too, but never exceeds 100c because the fans kick on and it drops back down. No white smoke out the back and I still need to look at the oil. The car has 136k now, I looked over the records and the head gasket was done around 51k. Water pump was replaced around 118k. I need to remove the splash-guard to check for any coolant.
I hope its just a leaking hose or clamp that came loose. Any ideas? I know it could be quite a few things. Does a head gasket job need to be done more than once over a vehicles life? I know the first batch of 202's had weak gaskets but it was later updated. Any suggestion would be appreciated as always. Thank you.

If you don't see any visible leaks, try replacing the pressure cap on the expansion tank as a first measure (not expensive even through the dealer). Mine lost water shortly after I purchased the 43 and noticed the water/steam was being forced out of the overflow pipe. Changed the cap, no probs since
