You misunderstood me. Xenon lights was an option pack. This car was originally ordered without it. Rain sensing windshield wipers was another option pack. These both option packs included some other minor features added (cant remember now)

Slk style wheels were % 50 or so lighter but monoblocks are much better looking. I have seen 3 other 2000 c43s with monos.

I wouldn't worry about missing options or none original wheels. If the car drives fine its a fun car to have.

My 98 came with rain sensing wiper and self-leveling xenon headlights w/ washers, but my 99 had neither of those options. Never heard of a w202 having weak headlights, though. My 1994 C280's stock halogen headlights were the best headlights I've ever, ever seen. Even living out in the countryside where high beams are a priority, I seldom needed them. Yes, they were aimed correctly but still provided more than adequate visibility. The halogens in my 99 C43 are still pretty good, but the layout of the headlight guts changed (they moved high beam and fog lights around) which definitely decreased the headlight's overall effectiveness, but not enough to complain about.

From all the pictures of lowered cars I've seen on this forum I'd say that your car might be running on Bilstein shocks and H&R sport springs. You try to remove a wheel and/or try to see which colors are the springs and shocks. That might give a starting point. Any inscription on them will be helpful as well

You probably need to raise your headlights a bit since your car is not stock height any more.

I had this problem when i lowered mine. The headlight would point straight to the ground not too far from the front of the car...

Btw i miss me xenons. I have some hids on there

On the other topic :

My tires are 225/40 zr 18 in the front and 255/35 rear.

Sure looks like I need to take of many things here.
Thanks for the advice PJ, headlight seemed to dim for my liking, but you are probably right it needs adjustment.
I would think since the previous owner spent all this money on extra goodies and didnt take care of the headlamps ((.

I thought those were 18s

Btw purple springs are most likely vogtlands. Did you buy the car from a member here? There was someone here with a 2000 model that had the same identical setup.

He also owned a mid 90s porsche....i forget his name but im pretty sure his car was for sale at one point

Very interesting. I hope he did take care of the ride if he was a frequent forum visitor. That would be cool if we knew the username and I could just look up his posts))

ohhh 18" meaning w210 E55 rims. The best match for the C43. Bilsteins and Vogtlands! Some really good icing on this cake. Send it to the detail shop for a proper buff and polish and it will look breathtaking.

Sure hope buffing would get most of the scratches out.
Hoping to get it done soon enough.

Thank you all for helping out understanding this car.

PJ, you nailed it!!

It was Vogtland springs))

I am so happy that you found this. Thank you for your time spent on this.
There is a lot of useful info here.

He was selling it with 123k, so I guess it was my dealership who bought and drove a bit (4k). Than sold it to me.

Work done in the past....

Mobil 1 Oil change every 3k miles.
Lowered on Vogtland Springs
Plugs at 70k...
Transmission plug and transmission flush at 70k.
All 4 oxygen sensors...
New wiper motor.
New MAF
New CPS
New air filter
New fender liners

Having a blast going through his posts.
It seemed like I have adopted a baby that everyone knows )).

I guess having a rare vehicle sure helps narrow down the search on forums.

Guys thank you all, I am not sure If I would be able to find that.

Great work everyone, I am very happy with the fact that previous owner really loved this car.

Best news I got this week !!!
