Help adjusting C36 (4spd) transmission needed

Fellow forum members
I need your help guys, the following is the situation.

My old transmission was messed up, the shifts had a delay in between like a slip.
So I bought a secondhand transmission for a c36 (4spd) with 55kmiles on it.
Installed it last week (I am not a mechanic or anything) so my nephew helped me with it.
It shifts smooth and without delays after install. Unfortunately it isn’t perfect. At WOT she shifts at about 5700 and doesn’t get to redline, this happens in all gears. However when I shift manually it stays in gear till redline as it is supposed to do at WOT.
To me it sounds that the gearbox needs some adjusting of some sort, what would you guys advice me?

Thanks for taking the time reading this,

go to a shop specialized in transmissions
they might help you out?

maybe you need to get the transmission ecu set corrected?
if you hook it up to star it will probably give you some trans error codes

Thanks for the advice, I am currently looking for a good shop for my transmission. Most companies call themselves specialists these days, I dont trust most of them so it takes some time. As far as I know the c36 its transmission is vacuum controlled and not by an ecu, however the c43 its one is so I understand the confusion.

i thought you had a 1997 car, my bad.
if you find a specialist who knows MB go to him and ask questions about your issues.
good luck fixing your problem
